Day One

Three Veneer layers and the base are glued to a sacrificial piece attached to a face plate.	Here is the miter sled with four rings of segments cut to size.
A thin layer of glue is applied to both sides.	Segments are glued in pairs.
Pairs are glued in half rings.	A shop built disk sander is attached to lathe and the ring halfs are sanded true.
Glued up rings.	Rings are sanded flat on drum sander.
both sides are smooth and parallel.	The rings are glued and set in a press.
